I’m Susan Kahn. As a certified professional dog trainer, I am dedicated to helping you and your family understand your dog’s behavior with the goal of creating a peaceful, cooperative relationship with your best friend. I provide personalized, in-home training tailored to your unique goals here in Belknap County, the Lakes Region, and surrounding New Hampshire communities.

I am a graduate of the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training & Behavior, professional member of the Association For Professional Dog Training International (APDT International), and a full active member of the Animal Training Academy. I am deeply committed to continuing education so your family always receives the most advanced, proactive support available.

My training methods rely entirely on an educated, fear-free approach. Whenever possible, we begin working off-leash in a secure indoor setting or fenced yard. By building this core connection first, I teach you how to keep your dog engaged so you can easily navigate real-life situations with confidence.

We work as a team, and you are an active participant in the learning process. I will teach you the most effective, humane ways to train your dog, giving you the essential, real-world skills to support your progress. To keep you moving forward, I provide helpful handouts and step-by-step instructions.
